The Philippines has a lot to offer to tourists and honeymooners as well. From serene beaches to extreme adventure destinations, you will definitely find it here. We tried to compile a list of destinations to help you in deciding what will be suitable for you but there are definitely a lot of other places that are left unexplored.


Near Manila
Subic
Just two hours from Manila is Subic. You can either travel by car or commute via Victory Liner or other buses traveling to Olongapo. Travel time is estimated to be just about 2 hours making it one of the nearest and best destinations for a short weekend trip. If you love adventure you can go for the various activities that Subic has to offer. If you love the sea, you can go snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing or kite surfing. For those who want to experience something new, you can go for a treetop adventure, zip line or go on a helicopter ride to the crater of Mt. Pinatubo. You can also go gokarting or wall climbing. For couples who want to have a relaxing time, a walk on the beach during sunset or just sitting on the shore with may be a good bonding time.


Batangas
About two hours south of Manila, Batangas is also known for its beaches and water adventures. It is popular for its diving spots. Among the most popular destinations is Anilao for its dive sites which is ideal for marine life observation and macro photography. It is also where you can find the Taal Volcano. Activities include diving, swimming, kayaking, picnic and other beach activities. You can also go trekking and climbing in Mount Maculot or Taal Volcano.

Pangasinan is another destination for couples who love the beach and thirst for some adventure. Among the popular destinations in Pangasinan is the Hundred Islands where you can go island hopping, kayaking and snorkeling. You can also explore the caves in the different islands and see the bats and other creatures hiding in its darkness. If you are up for it, then you can also spend a night by renting a cottage or camping. It is definitely an experience that will help you bond more.
